Dr Kitty Lymperopoulou is a Senior Research Associate on the Understanding Inequalities project working on research examining the causal drivers of inequality in the exposure to crime. She is a mixed methods social researcher interested in migration and social inequalities, particularly geographical and ethnic inequalities. Prior to her current role, Kitty was a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre on Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE) and a lecturer at the Department of Social Statistics at the University of Manchester. She has also held research posts in the Migration and Border Analysis Unit in the Home Office Science Directorate and the Centre for Urban Policy Studies (CUPS). She gained a PhD in Social Statistics in 2014 from the University of Manchester.
